Coming Soon
The Vessel Owner portal is currently in development and will be available in an upcoming release. The information below documents the planned functionality.
Overview
Vessel Owner accounts are a platform-level user type, separate from company users. A vessel owner does not need to be associated with any marine service company — they have their own dashboard to view their vessels and service history.
Creating an Owner Account
- Via invitation — a marine service company can invite a vessel owner when adding a vessel. The owner receives a claim link and creates their account.
- Via direct signup — vessel owners can create an account directly at vesselone.com.au by selecting the Owner account type during signup.
Dual Identity
A single VesselOne login can hold both a company user identity (Admin or Technician) and a vessel owner identity simultaneously. This is useful for yard owners or operators who both run a marine service business and own vessels.
When you log in with a dual identity account, you can switch between your company dashboard and your owner dashboard without logging out.
The Owner Portal
The owner portal is a separate view from the company dashboard. It shows:
- My Vessels — all vessels registered under your ownership.
- Service History — published service summaries from marine companies that have worked on your vessel.
- Documents — vessel certificates, insurance, and surveys.
- Company Access — which marine companies have access to your vessels and at what level.
