Timesheet Management

Admin view of all entries, the submission-based edit lock, and locked entry implications.

Last updated: February 2026

Overview

The Timesheets section gives Company Admins a consolidated view of all time logged across the team, filterable by technician, date range, and work order.

Who Does This

Company Admins can view the full timesheets view. Technicians can view their own entries within work orders they are assigned to.

Admin Timesheet View

Navigate to Timesheets from the top navigation.

  • Filter by team member to see an individual's time across all work orders.
  • Filter by date range for weekly or monthly timesheet reviews.
  • Filter by work order to see all hours logged on a specific job.
  • Export time data for payroll or invoicing.

The Submission Edit Lock

Time entries are editable by the creator while their weekly timesheet is a draft. Submitting the timesheet locks its entries to preserve billing and audit integrity; approval keeps them locked, and a rejection unlocks them for corrections. Locked entries show a lock icon in the time tab.

This rule ensures that once a timesheet has been submitted for review in a billing cycle, its time cannot be retroactively modified without going back through the approval flow.

If a genuine error exists in a locked time entry, contact your VesselOne account manager or support@vesselone.com.au for assistance.
