Photos Are Private by Default
All photos uploaded to VesselOne are private to your company by default. Vessel owners cannot see any photos until a Company Admin explicitly includes them when publishing a service summary.
Publishing Photos to Vessel Owners
When you publish a service summary to a vessel owner (from a completed work order), you can choose which photos to include. You are not required to include any photos — the service summary can be text-only.
- 1From a completed work order, click Publish to Owner.
- 2In the Photos section of the publish dialog, review the work order's photos.
- 3Check the photos you want to include in the service summary.
- 4Complete the other fields and click Publish.
What Vessel Owners See
Vessel owners can only see photos that were explicitly included in a published service summary. They cannot browse your work order's photo gallery directly. Each published service summary shows only the photos selected at the time of publishing.
Once a service summary is published, the included photos become permanently accessible to the vessel owner. There is currently no way to un-publish a photo after publishing.
