Invite Your Team

Send invitations, assign roles, and manage pending and accepted members.

Overview

Team members are invited via email. When they accept the invitation and create an account, they are automatically linked to your company.

Sending an Invitation

Navigate to Members (or Settings → Members) and click Invite Member.

  1. 1Enter the team member's email address.
  2. 2Select their role: Admin or Technician.
  3. 3Optionally set their employment type (full-time, part-time, contractor).
  4. 4Optionally set their hourly rate if it differs from the company default for their role.
  5. 5Click Send Invitation.
  6. 6The team member receives an email with a unique signup link.

Invitation Statuses

You can view all invitations and their status in the Members section.

  • Pending — Invitation sent, team member has not yet signed up.
  • Accepted — Team member has created their account and is active in your company.
  • Expired — Invitation link has expired (after 7 days). You can resend.

Important Notes

Invited users must sign up using the unique link in their invitation email. If they already have a VesselOne account from another company, they can still accept the invite and gain access to your company as a separate identity.
